zionist Press: Hezbollah Prepares further Surprises for Us
The Zionist media were busy Tuesday tackling Hezbollah latest operation in the occupied Shabaa Farms and analyzing its repercussions on the entity’s security.
Hezbollah launched an attack Monday against on the boder with occupied Palestine by detonating explosive devices against a Zionist military patrol, in response to the assassination of commander Samir al-Kuntar in Syria two weeks ago.
In an analytical article posted on Ynet news website, Ron Ben-Yishai expressed fears that Hezbollah may seek more operations against the Zionists due to the allegation that “there were no casualties” on the Israeli side, stating that the roadside minefield that was planted on the slopes of Shabaa Farms to target Zionist patrols “was probably part of an operation to avenge the assassination of Samir Kuntar.”
Moreover, Ben-Yishai voiced concerns that Hezbollah might have taken advantage of the stormy weather over the past few days to plant “even more explosives and perhaps even anti-tank launchers” ready to ambush the Zionist troops in other places along the northern border.
Consequently, the Zionist analyst called for keeping the precautions taken over the past couple of weeks on the northern Palestinian border and on the Mount Hermon slopes in place.
Furthermore, he urged the occupation “soldiers and farmers working near the border fence to be particularly cautious and remain on high alert,” recalling the tragedy of Hezbollah retaliatory operation a year ago in the occupied Shabaa Farms that targeted a Zionist military convoy and killed two of its soldiers.
Noting that Hezbollah preferred over the last few years to operate in the occupied Lebanese land to obtain legitimacy for the resistance operations, Ben-Yishai stated that the type of attack – being a minefield – was not coincidence as well.
“Nonetheless, it is important to remain alert. It is quite possible that Hezbollah is preparing further surprises for us in the area,” he concluded.
