ISIL Pulls Back Forces from More Lands near Aleppo North of Syria

The Syrian pro-government forces hit ISIL’s positions badly in the Eastern part of Aleppo province and forced them to retreat from more territories, the army announced Tuesday.

“The Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces stormed the ISIL defense lines near the strategic airbase of Kuweires and seized control of the village of Ein al-Hanesh in the Southern side of Tal al-Hatabat,” the army said.

“Tens of the ISIL fighters were killed or wounded in the attack and the group fled the battlefield to evade more losses,” the army further added.

The Syrian army, popular forces and Hezbollah have had very good joint offensive against the ISIL in Eastern part of Aleppo province in the recent days.

On Monday, the Syrian army, the NDF and Hezbollah fighters liberated an important district Northwest of Kuweires airbase in Aleppo province.

“Pro-government troops set Arbid al-Judaydah district free following several hours of heavy fighting in the region,” the source said, adding that the ISIL terrorist group sustained several casualties in the attack.
