“The Rise of Islamic Revolution (of Iran) onto us” from the pen of prominent Sunni Cleric Hezbollah HAKVERDI (Hilmi KOCAASLAN)
This article is the first part that was published in DAVET magazine in April, 1990.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful.
1)By the dawn (Fajr) (The bright Dawn that has enlightened the world) 2) By Walayalen Ashr! By [the] ten nights! ( the ten days following one another all together)!.. 3) By Shaf’a ( the even number); by Vetr (the odd number). 4) And [by] the night when it (especially the last night) passes. 5) Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception (and the other wonderful and strange events during these ten nights)? 6) Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with ‘Aad?! 7) [With] Iram – who had lofty pillars?!.. 8) The likes of whom had never been created in the land?;.. 9) And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley! 10) And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes! 11) Who (all) were rebellious (to Allah) in these lands!.. 12) And increased therein the corruption!.. 13) So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment!.. 14) Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful (over them and punish them according to their deeds!)! (Surat Al-Fajr: 1-14)
There is a need for related prior knowledge before starting to the miracles “Ten Days (and nights) of Dawn” in Surat Al-Fajr in this century in order to prevent the possible specters and suspicions. As follows:
As you know, Qur’an Hakeem should not be studied as words and books of people. First of all, it sould clearly be known that the Words of Allah cannot be understood with the mind of person completely. Qur’an has all eternal events without leaving anything, any event outside of its circle. That is why Abdollah Ibn Masood (r.a) said :”All kinds of knowledge mentioned and everything is included in Qur’an.” An interpreter of Qur’an like Abdollah Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) also said:”I will certainly find (even) my rope of camel, if i lose it.” They drew attention to the infinite knowledge, and endless content of Qur’an.
Miraculousness Qur’an-e Kareem includes all things in terms of concept, content, wisdom, the unseen knowledge and all kinds of events. Yes, “And with Him are the keys of the Ghaib (all that is hidden), none knows them but He. And He knows whatever there is in (or on) the earth and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but he knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record.” [Al-An’am: 59]. “…We have not neglected in the Register a thing…” [Al-An’am: 38]. These ayats present the topic clearly; Qur’an Kareem comprises all eternal events, everything.

Yes; Qur’an is the pre-eternal translator of the mighty book of the universe; the post-eternal interpreter of the various tongues reciting the verses of creation; the commentator of the book of the Worlds of the Seen and the Unseen; the revealer of the treasuries of the divine names hidden in the heavens and on the earth; the key to the truths concealed beneath the lines of events; the tongue of the Unseen World in the Manifest World; the treasury of the post-eternal favours of the Most Merciful and of the pre-eternal addresses of that Most Holy One, that come from the World of the Unseen beyond the veil of this Manifest World; it is the sun, foundation, and plan of the spiritual world of Islam; the sacred map of the worlds of the hereafter; the expounding word, lucid exposition, decisive proof, and clear interpreter of the divine essence, attributes, names, and functions; it is the instructor of the world of humanity; the light and water of Islam, the macroanthropos; the true wisdom of mankind; and the true guide and leader urging humanity to prosperity and happiness; it is both a book of law, and a book of prayer, and a book of wisdom, and a book of worship, and a book of command and summons, and a book of invocation, and a book of thought; it is a unique, comprehensive sacred book comprising many books to which recourse may be had for the needs of all mankind; it is a revealed scripture resembling a sacred library that offers treatises suitable for all the various ways and different paths of the all the saints and the veracious ones and the wise and the learned, which is appropriate for the illuminations of each way and enlightens it, and is suitable for the course of each path and depicts it.
Since the Qur’an has come from the Sublime Throne and the greatest name, and from the highest degree of each name, it is Allâh’s Word in regard to His being Lord and Sustainer (Rabb) of all the worlds; it is a divine decree through His title of God of All Beings; it is an address in the name of the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth; it is a conversation in respect of absolute dominicality (rubûbiyet)\ it is a pre-eternal discourse on account of universal divine sovereignty; it is a notebook of the favours of the Most Merciful from the point of view of all-embracing, all-encompassing divine mercy; it is a collection of addresses at the start of which are certain ciphers related to the tremendousness of divine majesty; and through its descent from the comprehensiveness of the greatest name, it is a holy scripture full of wisdom that looks to and inspects all sides of the Sublime Throne.
It is because of this mystery that with complete fitness the title of the Word of Allâh has been given to the Qur’an, and is always given. After the Qur’an comes the level of the books and scriptures of the other prophets. However, those other innumerable divine words are each in the form of inspiration made manifest through a special regard, a partial title, a particular manifestation, a specific name, a special dominicality, a particular sovereignty, a special mercy. The inspirations of the angels and man and the animals vary greatly with regard to universality and particularity. [Isharat al-I’jaz by Bediüzzaman Said Nursi written in 1927]
“The Qur’an is a revealed scripture which contains in summary the books of all the prophets, whose times were all different, the writings of all the saints, whose paths are all different, and the works of all the purified scholars, whose ways are all different. Its six aspects are all brilliant and free of the darkness of doubts and scepticism; its point of support is certain heavenly revelation and the pre-eternal Word; its aim and goal is self-evidently eternal happiness; its inner aspect is clearly pure guidance; its upper aspect is necessarily the lights of belief; its lower aspect is undeniably evidence and proof; its right aspect is evidently the surrender of the heart and conscience; its left aspect is manifestly the subjugation of the reason and intellect; its fruit is indisputably the mercy of the Most Merciful and the realm of Paradise; and its rank and desirability are assuredly accepted by the angels and man and the jinn.” [Isharat al-I’jaz by Bediüzzaman Said Nursi written in 1927]

In this context, Islamic clerics, scholars who have deep sight of knowledge have infered unknown-unseen- knowledge (Ilm-e Qayb), miracles and left those written documents to the following generations. For example, a) While muslims were under the heavy hands of disbelievers there was an ongoing Iran and Rum (Byzantine) war. [Alif, Lam, Meem. The Byzantines have been defeated. In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome. Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice. In the victory of Allah . He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.] (Ar-Rum :1-5). Then, Hz Abubakr (r.a) took 100 camels (as their allegation and deal) from Obay b. Halaf (during the victory of battle of Badr) who was notable among disbelievers (Mushriks). By this way, the ikhbar qayb, unseen miraculousness event of Qur’an came true.
b) The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah is also another good example for Ilm-e Qayb, the unseen knowledge in terms of heralding the future victorios during that time which aimed to give strenght to the upset hearts of believers because of the treatment. There were some people who thought Hudaybiyyah Treatment as a defeat against the enemies but Allah heralded with the Surat Al-Fath. Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest This ayat mentioned Surat Al-Fath as the harbinger of many big conquests. Those who remained behind will say when you set out toward the war booty to take it, “Let us follow you.” They wish to change the words of Allah . Say, “Never will you follow us. Thus did Allah say before.” So they will say, “Rather, you envy us.” But [in fact] they were not understanding except a little. [48:15] Ayat 20 of Al-Fath heralded the victory of battle of Khaybar. Allah has promised you much booty that you will take [in the future] and has hastened for you this [victory] and withheld the hands of people from you – that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path.[48:20] When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts chauvinism – the chauvinism of the time of ignorance. But Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and imposed upon them the word of righteousness, and they were more deserving of it and worthy of it. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing.[48:26] Certainly has Allah showed to His Messenger the vision in truth. You will surely enter al-Masjid al-Haram, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]. He knew what you did not know and has arranged before that a conquest near [at hand].[48:27] It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion. And sufficient is Allah as Witness.[48:28] While these ayats heralds open conquests the ayat number of 28 and 29 heralds the worldwide Islamic Revolution. As we all see that these events have been occured and still happening nowadays.
The ayats that were revealed in Mecca : Or do they say, “We are an assembly supporting [each other]”? [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat].[Al-Qamar: 54-55] heralded the victory of Badr battle, and [Remember, O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups – that it would be yours – and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours.[Al-Anfal: 7] also harbingered the believers and made their hearts joyful beforehand.

When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest, And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes, [An-Nasr: 1-2]. Thus, Allah announces that many countries to be conquered and many people from different tribes to enter Islam and this one has happened. Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient.[An-Nur:55] and this ayat mentiones many conquests following one another and guides muslims for future goals.
