Syria: Militant Positions Hit Hard in Army Offensives across Aleppo
The Syrian fighter jets carried out several combat flights over the concentration centers of Takfiri terrorists near Maskaneh, al-Shemawiyeh, al-Madyouneh and the city of al-Bab in the Eastern and Northeastern parts of the province, and targeted them heavily, which not only left tens of militants dead or wounded but destroyed their military hardware.
In the meantime, the Syrian army stormed the positions of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front near the villages of Fah and Souran in the Northern part of Aleppo province and destroyed their military equipment.
The terrorist groups’ positions in the villages of al-Bawabiyeh, Shweiheneh and Abu Sheilam in the Western and Northwestern part of the province came under the heavy assaults of the Syrian government forces, which ended in the killing and wounding of several terrorists.
The Syrian army also captured several villages near the strategic Thermal Power Plant of Aleppo.
Earlier reports said that the Syrian government forces’ operations against the ISIL militants in the Eastern part of Aleppo province in the last three days ended in the recapture of 31 villages and farms.
The ISIL militant group sustained more defeats in the heavy attacks of the Syrian Army and popular forces in the Eastern part of Aleppo and have withdrawn from 31 villages, farms and heights.
