Military sources said on Monday the Syrian army soldiers in an intensive operation have reduced the militants’ command center in a key battleground in Dara’a city to rubble as they are taking on militants’ positions to open several new fronts across Southern Syria.

The pro-government forces on Monday pushed their way further into militant-held areas around al-Nazihin Camp neighborhood of Dara’a al-Balad district, preparing to enter battle with militants in new fronts against the militants in the Southern city of Dara’a, military sources said.

Elsewhere in the province of Dara’a, the army soldiers have managed to target a gathering of Takfiri terrorists in al-Ghariyah al-Gharbiyeh village, destroying their military hardware including a mortar launcher and imposing heavy casualties on militants in the area.

Yesterday, Syrian Army units delivered heavy blows at the Al-Nusra Front militants in the city of Daraa and inflicted heavy damage on the militants’ hardware.

Syrian Army soldiers and their allies launched concentrated strikes against positions of Nusra group in al-Bajabja neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad district, adding to the recent heavy blows to the militants to push them further back in the area.

The strikes by the pro-government sources destroyed a number of vehicles, gathering centers and other equipment of the militants in the key contested district.
