ISIL Supply Convoy Hit Hard by Syrian Army in Deir Ezzur
The ISIL fuel tankers, supplying trucks guarded by several heavy machinegun-equipped vehicles came under the attack of Syrian Tank’s shelling on a road connecting Haql al-Tim to al-Shouleh.
Most of the convoy’s vehicles were destroyed and their guard were killed or wounded in the attacks.
Also on Tuesday, Syrian Army continued its advances in Deir Ezzur province in Eastern Syria, and won back a strategic road there.
The army units took full control of a key route linking al-Tim oilfield to the city of al-Mayadeen in Deir Ezzur province.
Scores of militants were killed and injured in tough battle over the road.
