Syrian Air Force destroys ISIL’s largest training camp in southern Deir Ezzor
The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) carried out a special mission today inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate’s southern countryside, striking the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’s (ISIL) largest training camp at the city of Mohassan.
According to a military source at the Deir Ezzor Military Airport, the Syrian Air Force destroyed the entire ISIL training camp and its nearby barracks that housed as many as 200 terrorists at its peak.
The number of dead terrorists as a result of the airstrike is unknown. The source added that this training camp was revealed by the Russian Air Force after they conducted several reconnaissance missions above the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
