Dozens of settlers storm Al-Aqsa courtyards under IOF protection

Dozens of Israeli settlers, on Sunday morning, broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque amid tight security protection by the occupation forces on the third day of the Jewish “Passover holiday”.

Jerusalem sources said that more than 25 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque after opening the “Mughrabi Gate” since the morning, where the Israeli police secured them until they left.

The sources confirmed that the courtyards of the mosque have witnessed tension, after the settlers’ performance of “Talmudic prayers” near “Gate of Mercy”, which led to verbal altercations and fistfight between Israeli police and mosque guards.

The sources added that the guards forced the Israeli police to expel the settlers.

It is noteworthy that Sunday is the first day of the settlers’ break-ins during the “Passover feast” which began on Friday.
