Syrian Army Forces Raze Terrorists Ammunition, Fortifications in several Areas
The army’s air force on Monday carried out airstrikes on convoys of vehicles and fortified positions for ISIS terrorist organization northeast of Palmyra city in Homs province, a military source told SANA.
The source said that the airstrikes inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in personnel and equipment.
An army unit targeted ISIS gatherings in Tolol al-Fadeen in the northeast countryside of Sweida province, killing number of terrorists and destroying an armored vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun, as part of the Army’s operations to cut off the supply routes of ISIS coming from Iraq towards the Syrian Badyia (desert), according to a military source.
Army units launched during the past hours special operations against the sites and vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa province, a military source said, adding that these operations resulted in destroying 2 al-Nusra positions in the southern part of al-Manshia neighborhood and a number of their machinegun-equipped vehicles to the east of al-Abassia Bakery, SANA reported.
