Hezbollah, Syrian Army recapture 2 villages in southern Aleppo
The Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Mechanized Division – backed by Hezbollah, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Harakat Al-Nujaba, Badr Brigades, and Liwaa Al-Quds – reportedly recovered two villages from the terrorists after repelling Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Jabhat Al-Nusra at Abu Raweel this morning.
The terrorist attack on Abu Raweel turned disastrous for the latter as they suffered an astounding number of casualties while trying to infiltrate the Syrian Armed Forces’ front-lines. According to an Al-Masdar correspondent in Damascus, Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and their allies lost an estimated 25 terrorists between the villages of Abu Raweel and Banjera this morning.
Once the assault at Abu Raweel was repelled, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies launched a powerful assault to recover the villages of Tal Mustawi and Ma’aratah near the strategic town of Khan Touman. While the recapture of these two villages is promising, the Syrian Armed Forces have not yet began their major push to reclaim Khan Touman and Al-Khalidiyah – reinforcements have just arrived.
