Raqqa: ISIL Military Hardware Sustains Major Damage in Syrian Ground, Air Attacks
The Syrian fighter jets targeted the ISIL strongholds at al-Tabaqa airbase, which ended in the destruction of the Takfiri terrorists’ weapons and armored vehicles.
In the meantime, the Syrian army troops, backed up by the Syrian warplanes, continued to hunt the ISIL terrorists in Western Raqqa.
The Syrian arm aircraft also bombed the ISIL centers in the Northern side of Zakiyeh crossroad and Southern side of al-Tabaqa.
The Syrian jets also targeted the ISIL bases in al-Khows tower in the town of al-Tabaqa.
In relevant development on Friday, the Syrian Army troops fended off ISIL’s attacks their strongholds along a main road to Raqqa, forcing the terrorist group to retreat from the battlefield under heavy fire.
The ISIL’s attacks on government positions at al-Rasafeh crossroad on the Ithriya-Raqqa road were fully repelled by the Syrian army men.
The ISIL suffered a heavy death toll and its military equipment also sustained major damage in their unsuccessful assaults.
