Revoking cleric of citizenship indicates Al-Khalif fright, alarm
Tehran Substitute Friday Prayers Leader Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi said Bahrain’s act in stripping citizenship of leading Shia cleric Sheikh Isa Qasim is a sign of Al-Khalifa fright and its awareness of the fact that the nation no longer approves of it.
He said the Bahraini nation has just one demand, which is universally approved by all, to have the opportunity to vote for their destination and decide their own futures.
He said those who claim supporting human rights and democracy the US style have silent in face of this legitimate demand for five years now and embarked on giving it a response through bullets, he said.
He warned Al-Khalif and Al-Saud who follow these behaviors to stop such practices which would eventually lead to their forcing out of power.
He further turned to an act by Israeli Rabbis who urge the occupying regime to poison the water used by Palestinians and said such people are in fact advocates of savagery, brutality and barbarism who deceitfully claim supporting human rights.
