Syria:Hezbollah’s Fresh Forces Arrive in Aleppo
“Hezbollah deployed a large number of its forces to the strategic town of al-Hadher on Friday morning,” the sources said adding, “The Hezbollah forces are veteran commandos that have participated in several battles across Syria, including the first offensive in Southern Aleppo.”
“Hezbollah has recently increased its presence in Southern Aleppo after taking a three-week-long hiatus to concentrate its fighters along the Syrian-Lebanese border,” they went on to say.
These commandos arrived just hours before the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, announced during his live broadcast that the Lebanese organization will dispatch a large number of forces to Southern Aleppo.
In relevant developments in the province on Friday, military sources announced that one of the most experienced mechanized divisions of the Syrian Army, known for its wonderful cooperation with the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters, was returning to the anti-terrorism front in Southern Aleppo.
“The 4th Mechanized Division has finally returned to Aleppo province and is expected to participate in the long-awaited operations after three months,” the sources said, adding, “The 4th Mechanized Division will head back to Southern Aleppo.”
The 4th Mechanized Division is well-known for fighting alongside Hezbollah against terrorists, as they provide them with armored support in the battlefields.
