The Syrian army pounded and destroyed the military positions and gathering centers of the Takfiri terrorists in Lattakia province, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Scores of Takfiri terrorists were killed and wounded in tough battle with the Syrian government forces in Lattakia province.

The army units also continued their military advances in other parts of Syria, including Deir Ezzur, Hama and Aleppo provinces, over the past 24 hours.

Lattakia

The Syrian Army troops, in a large-scale offensive, forced the terrorist groups back from their positions near Kinsibba in Northern Lattakia and took full control over the small but key town, military sources confirmed.

“The Syrian Desert Hawks forces and navy commandoes attacked on defense lines of the terrorist groups from six fronts in the Southern, Southeastern and Southwestern flanks of Kinsibba,” the sources said.

“The Syrian military forces at first liberated the villages of Shillif, Toubal, Ra’as al-Hossein, al-Raqem, Ruweisa al-Kaniseh, Wadi Basour and the entire heights around these villages, then they stormed the positions of terrorists near Kinsibba and captured the town in short-time but tough battle,” the sources added.

“The Syrian government forces are now fortifying their positions in the Northern, Northeastern and Northwestern sides of the town,” the sources went on to say, adding, “Last night coup in Turkey has decreased Ankara-backed terrorist groups across Northern Syria.”

Homs

Syrian Army troops hit ISIL’s bases and positions hard in Eastern Homs, killing several terrorists, including a security commander and an Emir.

ISIL’s security officer Aref al-Sweilim from Kuwait and Takfiri group’s commander in al-Sukhneh region Marwan Abu Daghmesh were killed in the offensive of the Syrian Special Forces near al-Abyadh mountain.

The Syrian army men also targeted two tanks, a missile launch-pad, two fuel tankers and five technical vehicles of the ISIL in their attacks.

The Syrian Air Force, for its part, bombed ISIL centers near al-Sha’er oilfield in Southeastern side of Palmyra, which not only ended in the killing of several militants but destroyed their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Aleppo

The Syrian military forces beat terrorist groups back from their positions near al-Lairamoun square towards Castillo, army sources said Saturday, adding the Army’s fire-control over militants’ main supply line will not allow any terrorist to enter the Northern part of Aleppo city.

“The Syrian Army troops won back more building blocks and firms in al-Lairamoun industrial region and Bani Zeid, which enabled the army to gain full fire control over al-Lairamoun square toward Castillo highway,” the sources said.

Reports said earlier on Saturday that the Syrian Army troops launched a fresh round of attacks on the strongholds of the terrorist groups of al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham in the Northern districts of Aleppo city and pushed the militants back from more building blocks and firms.

The Syrian soldiers hit the terrorist groups’ concentration centers and gatherings hard in Khalediyeh districts, and the road connecting al-Lairamoun to Bani Zeid and captured more building blocks and firms in the region.

The terrorist groups suffered a heavy death toll and their mortar launchers and weapons sustained major damage.

Hama

Syrian military forces repelled ISIL’s offensive to break through government forces’ positions along crude oil transferring lines in Eastern Hama, inflicting a heavy death toll on them.

ISIL’s attacks on the government forces’ strongholds near oil pipeline in the Southern side of the small town of Aqarib were fended off by the strong defense of the Syrian soldiers.

ISIL left behind tens of the dead and wounded members and pulled the remaining pockets of its forces back from the battlefield.

In the meantime, the Syrian military men pushed back the ISIL terrorists from the small towns of al-Tayibeh and al-Mofaker in Eastern Hama, which ended in the killing or wounding of several militants.

Deir Ezzur

Syrian Army and Air Force targeted ISIL’s centers in different parts of the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur, slowing down the Takfiri terrorists’ military movements in the region.

The Syrian fighter jets bombed several positions of ISIL near the town of al-Mohassan in Eastern countryside of Deir Ezzur city, which ended in destruction a main military base of the terrorists.

In the meantime, the Syrian Army troops pushed the ISIL fighters back from the regions of al-Thardah1, al-Thardah2 and al-Thardah3 in al-Thardah mountain.

Meantime, Emir of the ISIL in Albu Leil region was killed in Syrian fighter jets’ bombardments.

Abu Foras, a notorious commander of the ISIL and Emir of Albu Liel, was killed in the heavy attacks of the Syrian fighter jet on the Takfiri terrorists’ positions.

Sweida

The Syrian military forces launched a fresh round of offensives against ISIL’s strongholds in the Eastern and Northeastern parts of Sweida province, inflicting casualties on the terrorists.

The Syrian army men engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL terrorists in Tal Ash’haib al-Shamali in Northeastern Sweida, which ended in the killing or wounding of several militants.

In the meantime, the Syrian soldiers struck the Takfiri group’s defense lines near Mashbak al-Wedyan in the Eastern countryside of Sweida city, which not only claimed the lives of several terrorists but destroyed the military hardware in large scale.

Dara’a

The Syrian Army troops repelled the offensive of the terrorist groups to prevail over the government forces’ positions in the neighborhoods of the Southern city of Dara’a, inflicting heavy casualties on them.

The militant groups’ attacks on the army positions in the Western side of al-Bajabja neighborhood and the Southern side of vegetable market were repulsed by the Syrian soldiers.

The militant groups left behind several dead or wounded members and retreat from the battlefield.
