Syrian FM accuses France of killing 85 civilians in northeast Aleppo
The Syrian Foreign Minister, Wa’el Mu’allem, accused the French government of carrying out an airstrike over the village of Al-Tukhar that killed as many as 85 civilians.
Mu’allem sent a formal letter to the United Nations on Wednesday to condemn the French airstrike and airspace violation.
The village of Al-Tukhar is located just north of Menbeij, which is an Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) stronghold in the northeastern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate.
The U.S. backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” are currently storming this area, under the cover of Anti-ISIS Coalition airstrikes.
