ISIL Terrorists Sustain Heavy Losses in Syrian Army Offensives in Sweida
The Syrian army carried out an operation against a gathering of the ISIL terrorists in the Eastern parts of Sweida province, inflicting heavy losses on them in arms and personnel.
Two of the ISIL vehicles were also destroyed in the operation, one of them equipped with heavy machinegun. Dozens of terrorists were also killed in al-Muftira town in the Eastern countryside of the province.
A unit of the army confronted the ISIL-linked terrorist groups as they were trying to move towards Tal Zalfa’a and Abu Harat in the Northeast of Sweida province.
On Tuesday, the ISIL sustained heavy losses when their gathering centers came under the Syrian army attacks to the East of the village of Khalkhala village.
Meantime, another army unit carried out intensive strikes on ISIL’s military positions in Rajm al-Dawla the Northeast of Sweida city, destroying two vehicles with all terrorists on board.
On Sunday, the Syrian army troops launched a fresh round of offensives on the positions of ISIL in Eastern Sweida, inflicting several casualties on the militants.
Syrian soldiers’ anti-terrorism offensive on ISIL’s centers in the Western side of al-Rasiyeh region left tens of the Takfiri terrorists dead or wounded.
ISIL’s military equipment also sustained major losses.
Also on Saturday, a long convoy of ISIL’s vehicles came under the heavy attacks of the Syrian army troops in Northeastern Sweida.
“Several members of the ISIL were killed or wounded and at least four of their heavy machinegun-equipped vehicles were damaged in the Syrian army’s assault near the village of al-Qassar.
