The Syrian army continued its military operations against the terrorist groups in Dara’a province, and inflicted heavy losses on them over the past 24 hours.

The Syrian army killed and wounded scores of terrorists in Dara’a province.

The Syrian army also inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist groups in other key province across Syria.

Dara’a

Positions of terrorist groups in Dara’a city and its countryside were badly targeted in the Syrian army troops’ attacks.

The Syrian army men stormed terrorist groups’ gathering centers in al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh in Dara’a countryside, destroying their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

In the meantime, bases of Fatah al-Sham Front (newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as al-Nusra Front) in al-Hammadin neighborhood and al-Nazeheen camp in Dara’a al-Balad came under the heavy attacks of the Syrian army troops, leaving scores of militant dead or wounded.

Aleppo

Military sources announced Friday that heavy bombardments of Russian warplanes have paved the way for a major rapid advance of the Syrian army and its allies against the terrorist groups in Southern districts of Aleppo city.

The Syrian army’s Republican Guard, backed by Hezbollah and the National Defense Forces (NDF), drove back Jeish al-Fatah terrorists from the entire territories of al-Amariyeh districts.

The Russian fighter jets played a crucial role in the Syrian army’s advances.

Reports said earlier on Friday that the Syrian fighter jets pounded terrorists’ centers near a key village in Aleppo countryside, inflicting major losses and casualties on the militants.

Terrorists’ defense liens near the village of al-Sharafa were massively bombed by the Syrian army aircraft.

Terrorist groups suffered a heavy death toll and their military hardware also sustained major damage in the bombardments.

Meantime, three other notorious commanders of Fatah al-Sham Front (newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as al-Nusra Front) were killed in Syrian government forces’ attacks in the Southwestern districts of Aleppo.

Abu al-Leith, Abu Islam al-Ansari and Abu Omar al-Janoubi were killed in intense battle with Syrian army and their popular allies.

Quneitra

Syrian soldiers and National Defense Forces (NDF) carried out joint attacks on terrorist groups’ bases along a road in Northern Quneitra, inflicting major damage on the Takfiri group’s road-building machinery.

The Syrian government forces that had monitored terrorist groups’ activities to construct more strongholds along a road connecting al-Hamidiyeh to Jebbata al-Khashab launched joint offensive and targeted several bulldozers.

Several militants and drivers were also killed in the attacks.

Lattakia

Commander of the 2nd coastal division of the Free Syrian Army, who was injured in Northeastern Lattakia a couple of days ago, died in a field hospital, informed sources announced.

Riyad Qarrah Bijeq was wounded ten days ago in clashes with the Syrian army troops in Turkmen Mountain near Kinsibba a strategic town near Idlib province’s Southern part.

Raqqa

Differences between the Ansar (Syrian members of ISIL), and Mohajereen (foreign nationals of the terrorist group) have increased after the Takfiri group’s leadership granted more advantages to Mohajereen and their families in Raqqa, opposition source confirmed.

“ISIL security units refused to deliver the body of Ansar fighters to their families to bury them in their birth place and even in so many cases the security forces did not inform the families about the death of their sons, but instead ISIL transferred the bodies of non-Syrian fighters to cities and buried them there,” the sources said.

Similar cases of difference between Mohajereen and Ansar have been reported from across Syria. These rifts usually lead to serious infightings.
