“Syrian warplanes bombed ISIL’s column of vehicles on a road connecting the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur) to the town of al-Sukhnah, leaving a number of the vehicles destroyed and tens of guards accompanying the convoy dead or wounded,” the sources said.
“In the meantime, Syrian army’s artillery and missile units shelled positions of Fatah al-Sham (the newly-formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) in Tir Ma’ala and al-Ghanto in Northern Homs, ending in destruction of two commander bases and killing or wounding of their members, including several commanders,” they added.
Also on Tuesday, Syrian army aircraft targeted a number of ISIL’s military vehicles in Eastern Homs and pounded two command centers of the Takfiri group in the Northern parts of the province.
Several military vehicles of the ISIL were bombed and destroyed by the Syrian fighter jets in al-Sha’er oilfield and in the energy-rich region of Arak.
The Syrian warplanes also targeted to command centers of the ISIL in Tir Ma’ala and al-Ghnato, leaving also tens of terrorists dead or wounded.
