50 Jeish al-Fatah terrorists were killed and more than 70 others were injured during the army operations in the Northern parts of Hama province, a military source confirmed.

Units of the army, in cooperation with popular forces, repelled an attack by terrorist groups in the surroundings of Soran in Northern Hama, killing tens of them and destroying two tanks, the source said on Thursday.

Also, a unit of the army launched concentrated strikes on terrorists’ gatherings in the Western parts of Taibat al-Imam in Hama’s Northern regions, killing several of them.

The source said that the army units also engaged in heavy clashes with the militants in the area surrounding al-Boida and Maarkaba towns in the Northern parts of Hama.

During the clashes, a number of tanks were destroyed in the area surrounding al-Boida town. 50 terrorists were killed and more than 70 others were wounded, the military source said.

Also, Mohamed al-Ashqar, the leader of the so-called Jeish al-Izza terrorist group, was killed along with all his comrades, he added.

The Syrian army’s heavy attacks were launched after the Jeish al-Fatah terrorist group attacked a village in the Northern part of Hama province, massacring all its residents.

All residents of Tayeba al-Imam were killed in Jeish al-Fatah terrorists’ attacks on Wednesday.

Meantime, the Syrian army blocked the terrorists’ advances in Northern Hama province and seized back the town of al-Boyezeh.

However, the terrorist groups have intensified their attacks on military positions in Northern Hama.

The Syrian fighter jets carried out several combat flights over at least seven bases of the terrorist groups in Hama province, inflicting major losses and casualties on the militants.

The terrorist groups’ concentration centers in Morek, al-Latamina, al-Masasneh, Halfaiya and Markabeh, North al-Zalaqiyat and the surroundings of Kafr Zita were heavily bombed by the Syrian army aircraft.

Scores of terrorists were killed or wounded and their machinegun-equipped vehicles were damaged in the air raids.

In the meantime, strongholds of Fatah al-Sham (the newly-formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) in the town of Talaf in Southwestern Hama came under the massive attacks of the Syrian soldiers.

Several heavy machineguns-equipped vehicles of Fatah al-Sham were destroyed and at least 11 terrorists were killed in Talaf offensive.
