Angry protesters break into Red Cross headquarters in West Bank
Palestinian angry protesters stormed Saturday the headquarters of Red Cross in Bethlehem south of occupied West Bank. According to the PIC reporter, the protesters stormed the headquarters in protest against the Red Cross’ passive attitude towards the Palestinian hunger strikers’ issue.
The protesters decided to wage a sit-in inside the headquarters till solving the hunger strikers’ issue. The sit-in is a warning to the Red Cross and international human rights groups to immediately intervene to save the lives of the hunger strikers in Israeli jails, a local activist said.
