Terrorists continue to attack Castillo Highway in northern Aleppo
The Free Syrian Army and their jihadist allies continue to violate the ceasefire agreement with their sporadic attacks on the government-controlled section of the Castillo Highway in northern Aleppo.
On Saturday, the Free Syrian Army and their allies took advantage of the ceasefire to creep towards the government-controlled section of the Castillo Highway; however, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” responded with a flurry of rockets towards their positions.
Russia has repeatedly asked the rebels to immediately withdraw from the humanitarian highway, so that aid can enter the besieged eastern Aleppo neighborhoods.
The rebels have refused to leave their portion of the Castillo Highway, despite the fact the Syrian Arab Army had withdrawn 3.5 km north of the roadway in order to appease them.
