Tens of zionist Saudi Troops Killed by Yemeni Forces in Retaliation for Hudaydah Massacre
Al-Masirah television reported that the Yemeni army and popular forces launched rockets at the positions of Saudi mercenaries in the city Ta’izz, killing at least 40 troops.
The retaliatory attacks came after tens of civilians were killed and tens of others were injured in a Saudi airstrike on Yemen’s Hudaydah province. The air raid was carried out on a busy marketplace in the Hawak district.
Meanwhile, a survey revealed that Riyadh’s deadly air raids has targeted more than 3,000 civilian sites, including schools, hospital and mosques, in its bloody war on Yemen.
According to the survey, conducted by the Yemen Data Project, a group of academics, human rights organizers and activists, Saudi airstrikes hit 3,158 non-military sites between March 2015 and the end of August 2016.
The findings, published by the British national daily The Guardian, further exposed that there have been 942 air raids on residential areas, 114 on markets, 34 on mosques, 147 on school buildings, 26 on universities and 378 on transport over the course of the bombardment.
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen since last March to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 10,800 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.
Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
According to several reports, the Saudi-led air campaign against Yemen has drove the impoverished country towards humanitarian disaster.
