Syrian Army troops and popular forces have been hitting Jeish al-Fatah’s defense lines more heavily in the Northern outskirts of Aleppo after the capture of the Handarat Palestinian Refugee Camp and al-Kandi Hospital , field sources said Friday.

“Syrian government force, backed up by the army’s artillery units, have been targeting Jeish al-Fatah’s strongholds in al-Meidan square, al-Shaqif, Tal al-Ahmar and al-Jandoul, pinning down the militants behind their position with the lowest movements possible,” the sources said.

“Syrian military forces have meantime fortified their position near al-Kandi hospital,” they added.

The Army soldiers and popular forces continued their advances against Jeish al-Fatah in the Northern districts of Aleppo city after pushing the terrorists back from Handarat Palestinian Refugee Camp, and captured al-Kandi hospital on Thursday.

Syrian Army soldiers and popular forces continued their advances against Jeish al-Fatah in the Northern districts of Aleppo city after pushing the terrorists back from Handarat Palestinian Refugee Camp, and captured a key medical center in the region.

Syrian government forces, after hours of non-stop battle, drove Jeish al-Fatah out of al-Kandi hospital, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists.

Reports said earlier today that the Syrian Army continued to target the strongholds of Jeish al-Fatah terrorists in at least three key districts of Aleppo city, inflicting major damage on their sites.

The Syrian army’s armored units blocked the movement of Jeish al-Fatah terrorists in al-Rashedeen, al-Jabas bazaar and nearby areas of al-Hikma school, destroying militants’ vehicles and equipment.

In the meantime, the Syrian fighter jets pounded militants’ defense lines in Old Aleppo and Ba’eidin neighborhoods.
