Syrian Gov’t Forces Maintain Upper-Hand against Terrorist Groups North of Aleppo City
“The Syrian government forces’ heavy attacks on Jeish al-Fatah’s strongholds in Qweijeh, al-Bakarah and Jandoul square have caused the terrorists to stay behind their defense lines without any significant movement in the battlefield,” the sources said.
“The army and Liwa al-Quds, who have fire control over Jandoul square, have launched fresh attacks on Jeish al-Fatah’s centers along a road to Jandoul to prevent dispatch of fresh militant fighters and ammunition to Jandoul,” they added.
Reports said also on Monday that the Army soldiers and their popular forces were getting ready to storm terrorists’ positions in three militant-held districts in the Northeastern part of Aleppo city.
“Syrian government forces took back a main Water Pump Station in the Eastern side of Aleppo city and are preparing to attack Jeish al-Fatah’s positions in the districts of al-Heidariyeh, Masaken al-Hananou and al-Anzarat,” the sources said.
“The Syrian army and popular forces near al-Jandoul square have stormed the last base of the militants to access the Aleppo Central Prison,” they added.
Meantime, the sources added that the Syrian fighter jets bombed Jeish al-Fatah’s positions in Housing Project 1070 in the Southwestern parts of Aleppo city.
