7 October 2016 14:50

A senior commander of Jund al-Aqsa terrorist group was killed in the Syrian Army’s artillery fire in the Northern outskirts of Aleppo city.

The Syrian Army’s artillery units opened heavy fire at Jund al-Aqsa’s centers in the Northern outskirts of Aleppo, leaving several terrorists dead, including Abu Hafas Kafr Joum, a field commander of the group.

The Syrian fighter jet, for their part, pounded militants’ centers in the Eastern parts of Aleppo city.

The army troops also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Bostan al-Pasha.

Meantime, Syrian warplanes bombed the supply line of Jeish al-Fatah terrorists connecting al-Ameriyeh to Khanasser and several other targets in Housing Project 1070, inflicting major damage on militants’ vehicles.

Reports said earlier today Syrian Army soldiers and popular forces stormed Jeish al-Fatah’s strongholds in the Southern districts of Aleppo and captured a key hilltop in the battlefield after hours of non-stop clashes.

The Syrian army men and Hezbollah combatants, in a fresh round of attacks, targeted Jeish al-Fatah’s defense lines in Sheikh Saeed and Housing Project 1070 and captured the most important hilltop in Sheikh Saeed district.

With Sheikh Saeed Hill under their control, the Syrian Armed Forces and their popular allies now possess the high ground inside the district, leaving the remaining terrorists in serious trouble.
