Tiger Forces capture 14 northern Hama villages in 72 hours
The Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” experienced a wide-range of success in northern Hama this past weekend, capturing 14 villages from the jihadist rebels in the course of 72 hours.
Video footage of the Tiger Forces’ 72 hour long advance was released by the Syrian-based Al-Ikhbariya News Agency on Monday:
Led by the Shaheen Group of the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army imposed full control over the key village of Karah, which is located just north of another strategic town: Taybat Al-Ism.
Since their successful assault this past weekend, the Tiger Forces have pulled back their units from the town of Ma’an, citing the need to regroup as the primary reason for their withdrawal on Monday.
