Syrian Army Captures More Lands in Northern Aleppo

The Syrian army and popular forces continued their advances in the Northern part of Aleppo on Friday, and seized back major parts of al-Arz al-Hamra region and a strategic mine to the East of al-Oweijeh area.

The army’s military gains came after fierce clashes with the terrorist groups that inflicted severe casualties on the militants.

The terrorists’ military equipment also sustained heavy losses.

Earlier on Friday, the Syrian army and popular forces seized back three strategic regions in Aleppo, and killed over three dozen terrorists in heavy fighting in other parts of the province.

The government forces managed to take full control of the al-Maqla, Kasarat and Qos al-Oweijeh regions in Aleppo province.

Meantime, over 42 terrorists were killed in tough battle with the Syrian government forces and popular forces in Sheikh Saeed, al-Ferdos and Housing Project 1070.

Reports from Northeastern Aleppo said on Wednesday that the Syrian army soldiers and their allies continued to beat terrorists back from more lands South of the Palestinian Handarat Refugees Camp.

Syrian soldiers and popular forces made significant advances in Tal-e Seifan and power plant areas near al-Oweijeh region.

The terrorists suffered a heavy death toll and their military hardware sustained major damage in the attack.
