The Islamist rebels fired several cluster munitions indiscriminately towards the Syrian capital on Monday, wounding as many as 7 people in the Mezzeh Neighborhood.
According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent in Mezzeh, the cluster munitions were fired from the town of Jobar in the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus this afternoon.
The Al-Masdar correspondent added that this is the first time during this war that Islamist rebels used the internationally banned cluster munitions in this region of Syria.
