Hamas: We will continue to manufacture drones
The Palestinian resistance will continue to manufacture drones, Hamas leader Fathi Hammad vowed on Monday evening.
Speaking in a ceremony to pay homage to the families of over 50 slain Palestinians from al-Zawayda village, senior Hamas leader Hammad called on the Palestinian resistance to follow Zouari’s track and manufacture more drones.
“We should never ever give up. That’s the real meaning of victory. We should not, cannot, compare a resistance fighter who sacrifices every single breath to his motherland and people to a bodyguard working for the Israeli colonizers,” Hammad stated.
“Hamas will remain a throne in Israel’s throat,” he pledged.
Hamas leaders Yousef Darwish and Ezzat Fathi Abu Sweirah reiterated the group’s commitment to the Palestinian cause and the martyrs’ blood.
“We are engaged in a fight with the Israeli occupation. We need more strength and support to restore the nation’s dignity,” added Sweirah.
Members of al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, also showed up at the ceremony and paid tribute to the slain Tunisian pro-Qassam engineer Mohamed al-Zouari, lifting his picture on the podium.
Mohamed Zouari, 49, was gunned down, on Thursday, outside his home, on Menzel Chaker Road to Sfax-South, while he was in his car.
The al-Qassam Brigades said the Israeli occupation regime was undoubtedly behind the assassination in Tunisia of scientist Mohamed Zouari.
