Terrorists suffer heavy casualties in Daraa after massive Syrian Army attack
he Syrian Arab Army had another busy day in the Dara’a Governorate after their forces carried out a wide-scale assault around the provincial capital’s Sports City and Al-Balad District.
Led by their 5th Armored Division, the Syrian Arab Army launched a powerful missile attack on the Free Syrian Army’s (FSA) defenses at the provincial capital’s Sports City, destroying a mortar launcher and militant base used to conduct attacks against the government.
Following the missile strike on the Sports City, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Armored Division carried out a vicious assault at the Dara’a Al-Balad District, killing and wounding several militants, including Shukri Mohammad Abizaid, Munayf Halami Al-Quwaydar, and Mohammad Awad.
In addition to these wide-scale attacks, the Syrian Arab Army also shot down at least five armed drones used by the Islamist rebels to bomb their positions and residential areas.
