Nablus committee urges Palestinians to team up in face of Israel
The Factional Coordination Committee in Nablus called Monday for healing the national rift and combining forces in the face of the Israeli occupation.
The Factional Coordination Committee stressed, in a statement, the need to restructure the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), hold elections of the Palestinian National Council (PNC), and to rearrange home affairs on a national and democratic basis.
The committee called for boosting resistance so as to restore Palestinians’ rights and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
It lauded the anti-settlement bid adopted by the UN Security Council (UNSC), hailing Venezuela, Senegal, New Zealand, and Malaysia for backing up the Palestinian people and for their vote in favor of UNSC Resolution 2334 condemning Israeli illegal settlements across the occupied Palestinian territories.
