Leader of Islamic Ummah Imam Ali Khamenei: No enemy can paralyze Iranian people
No enemy is capable of paralyzing people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, says Supreme Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei.
38th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution falls on Friday Feb 10 this year. Millions of Iranians in Tehran and provinces rally in the streets to show their support for the aspirations of the Revolution.
“[Donald Trump] The new president of the United States argues that we should be thankful to [former US president Barack] Obama,” the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei said, wondering why.
“Why should we be thankful to Obama? for [creation of] Deash terrorist group, the war in Iraq and Syria, and his blatant support for the 2009 sedition in Iran?” the Supreme Leader asked.
It was Obama that imposed paralyzing sanctions against the Iranian people, but he failed to achieve what he wished for, said Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei.
“[Trump] says to be afraid of him, but the Iranian people are going to show what stance they take against threats,” Supreme Leader said.
“We should be thankful to the new guy who has come recently, though, the Supreme Leader said, referring to Trump, the new occupant of the White House.
“Because he made the job easier for us and showed us the real face of the United States, in other words, what we were trying to say during more than the past three decades,” the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei said.
We tried to show the political, economic, ethical, and social corruption in the US establishment, Supreme Leader said.
“Now, this guy, both during his campaign and after election has publicly and overtly declared this,” Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei said.
“Presently, too, by embarking on such actions, like putting handcuffs on a five-year-old kid, he is demonstrating the reality behind the American human rights,” Supreme Leader said.
