Intelligence minister: Iran not afraid of threatening messages
Iran’s Minister of Intelligence Mahmoud Alavi said on Wednesday that the Iranian people with their high turnout in the Islamic Revolution anniversary rallies will show that they are not afraid of threatening messages.
Speaking to reporters after a cabinet meeting, he pointed to the recent unwise remarks of US President Donald Trump and said that Iranians will attend the Revolution anniversary demonstrations to show their commitment to the Revolution’s ideals.
Islamic Republic of Iran is progressing forward based on the guidelines of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the Revolution ideals, Alavi said.
He pointed to a famous quote by the Founder of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini and said, “America can’t do a damn thing against us.”
Speaking about the security of the upcoming presidential election in Iran, Alavi said the Intelligence Ministry has started cooperation with other related institutions to hold the election in peace without any security, political or social issue.
