VIDEO: Syrian Army pounds terrorists in Daraa with heavy artillery
Despite an ongoing rebel offensive in Daraa city code-named ‘humiliation over death’, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is refusing to buckle and has not conceded any ground since it lost a large chunk of the Al-Manishiyah district on day one of the offensive.
Now, the SAA is relying increasingly on artillery units to minimize its own casualties and weaken the hostile Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham insurgent coalition:
With the frontline situation reaching a stalemate, clashes could potentially calm down within the near future. Around 10,000 civilians have fled the city to avoid coming in the line of fire.
