VIDEO: Syrian Army scores direct hit on terrorists at building in Daraa
Heavy clashes continue to rage through Syria’s southern city of Daraa as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and jihadist belligerents attempt to advance on each other on Monday.
While over a dozen joint Russian and Syrian airstrikes struck rebel-held urban areas of Daraa, the SAA targeted insurgent positions in the southern sector of the city utilizing a variety of firepower.
Specifically, SAA forwards units pounded rearguard Islamist militants at the Al-Karak and Al-Abassyah districts with ATGM’s, missiles and 23mm gunfire:
Yesterday, Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham retook a building in the embattled Al-Manshiyah district; despite substantial casualties in both government and rebel ranks, neither side has managed to achieve a much-needed breakthrough yet.
