Syrian Army, Palestinian committees seize several points in northwest Aleppo
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), alongside Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary) and Al-Ba’ath Battalions, launched a powerful offensive in the northwestern part of Aleppo, targeting a number of axes, including the Al-Zahra’a Association Quarter.
While no significant gains were reported yesterday, the Syrian Arab Army launched another series of attacks on Tuesday, targeting the territory around the strategic ‘Anadan Plain.
Led by their Republican Guard units, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies managed to capture the large hilltop of Tal Shuwahneh and the Khirbat ‘Anadan area from the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.
In addition to this attack, the Syrian Arab Army resumed their assault on the western part of the Al-Zahra’a Association Quarter, as they attempt to clear the jihadist pockets around the Great Prophet Mosque.
