ISIL’s Fuel Tankers, Bomb-Making Workshop Destroyed in Iraqi Airstrikes

The Hashd al-Shaabi (Iraqi volunteer forces) announced that the Iraqi fighter jets targeted a long convoy of ISIL fuel tankers and bomb-making workshop in the Western part of Mosul city, destroying most of the vehicles and the entire workshop.

Hasha al-Shaabi said in a statement that several oil tankers of ISIL and a bomb-making workshop have been destroyed in the warplanes’ attack in Western part of Mosul.

Based on the statement the ISIL’s oil tankers and military vehicles were targeted and destroyed in air raids in the neighborhoods of al-Yarmouk and al-Thowra.

The statement added that the ISIL’s bomb-making workshop was destroyed in the air attacks in the Qanem al-Sayed industrial zone.

Sumeria news channel reported on Monday that Hashd al-Shaabi underlined in its statement that its fourth unit attacked the ISIL bases in al-Hamra village in Western Mosul, destroying the vehicles and killing all the terrorists accompanying the convoy.

Earlier today, twelve ISIL militants were killed as Hashd al-Shaabi encountered an attack by the group against Talet Hassani region, West of Mosul.

 “The fourth brigade troops encountered an attack launched by ISIL militants against Talet Hassani, Western Mosul,” Hashd al-Shaabi said in a statement.

“12 ISIL members were killed as the troops repelled the attack.”
