Hamas calls for large-scale participation in the day of anger
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, in occupied West Bank called on Wednesday on the Palestinian people to participate in the day of anger on Thursday which was announced by the National Committee to Support the Strike in solidarity with the hunger striking prisoners.
Hamas urged in a press release the Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank to escalate their confrontations with the Israeli soldiers and increase the pressure exerted on Israel to push it to respond to the demands of the prisoners who have been on hunger strike for the 24th day in a row.
The Movement confirmed its leaders and members’ support for the activities announced by the National Committee and asked the Palestinian people to participate in the mass rally in Ramallah which will march toward Beit El settlement to clash with the Israeli soldiers.
It reiterated that the striking prisoners need greater support by the Palestinian people to be assured that they are not alone in their battle.
