Syria: ISIL Terrorists to Withdraw from Yarmouk Camp in Southern Damascus
The sources said that the ISIL has distributed a number of leaflets across Yarmouk camp and Hajar al-Aswad region, determining three destinations in ISIL-held regions in Syria.
They added that the ISIL has urged its fighters to register their names for evacuation from the camp.
The sources pointed out that the ISIL is to leave the region and hand over its positions to the army units.
A local source said last week that the ISIL terrorists stormed the positions of Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board whose members are mainly from the Al-Nusra) in the Yarmouk Palestinian Refugees Camp, escalating fierce clashes among the two rival terrorist groups.
The source who requested anonymity said that the ISIL terrorists who were driven by their anger at Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at’s agreement with the Syrian Army to evacuate the Yarmouk camp launched a large-scale attack on Tahrir al-Sham’s positions.
The source added that clashes inflicted several casualties on both warring sides.
