The sources said that the collation warplanes carried out over 25 combat flights over Raqqa city and its countryside, leaving at least 17 people dead and several more wounded.
They added that 12 of the civilian casualties were in a cafe net near Jazreh West of Raqqa.
The sources went on to say that tens of civilians were also wounded in the attacks, adding that some of the injured are in critical condition, “so the death toll might rise”.
Relevant reports said on Tuesday that over 20 civilians, including women and children, were killed in the US-led coalition airstrikes on several boats on the Northern bank of the Euphrates River in Raqqa province.
The sources said that the collation’s fighter jets bombed a gathering of civilians that tried to leave the Southern neighborhoods of the ISIL-held city of Raqqa on ferry via the Euphrates River.
