Velayati: Quds Day symbol of Muslims’ unity against aggressors
Leader’s senior adviser Ali Akbar Velayati described Quds Day as a symbol of unity and dignity of the Islamic Ummah against aggressors and usurpers.
“Quds Day is a symbol of the magnificent and unique dignity and unity among Muslim countries against aggressors and usurpers, particularly the child-killing Zionist regime that has been constantly plotting against the whole Muslim world and the oppressed Palestinian nation,” Head of the Strategic Research Center of Iran’s Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati said ahead of International Quds Day to be observed across the world on Friday June 23.
Velayati noted, “the Zionist regime, backed by its masters such as US, some Western governments and certain reactionary countries in the region, has been making efforts to weaken and divide Muslim states by turning the Islamic-Zionist battle into an Islamic-Islamic one.”
He went on to add, “they create and sponsor extremist and terrorist groups and use them against the Islamic Ummah to establish security for the fake regime of Israel.”
“Quds Day will however show that the Islamic Ummah will continue its support for Palestine until the removal of this cancerous tumor,” he stressed.
Velayati further called on all Muslim and freedom-seeker nations of the world to show their unity by taking part in Quds rallies on Friday.
