Haneyya: Security along borders with Egypt will be tightened
Head of Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haneyya, said that his Movement will impose tightened security measures on the border with Egypt.
Haneyya’s statement came during his visit to the condolence tent that was held in Gaza city for the Egyptian soldiers who were murdered in a terror attack in the Egyptian Rafah city on Friday.
The Hamas leader revealed that political and security institutions in Gaza convened in order to follow up the heinous crime. He extended his condolences to the martyrs’ families as well as the Egyptian authorities and people.
Palestinian activists and local authorities opened on Saturday a condolence tent in Gaza city for the Egyptian slain soldiers. Scores of Palestinians accompanied by national key figures attended the event, the PIC reporter pointed out.
The Egyptian army announced on Friday the murder and injury of 26 Egyptian soldiers in a terror attack carried out by the ISIS in the Egyptian city of Rafah.
