Large Hezbollah convoy heads to eastern Sweida
A large convoy of Hezbollah fighters traveled to the eastern countryside of Al-Sweida, Wednesday, after a long stint in the Aleppo Governorate.
According to a military source in Damascus, the convoy consisted entirely of Syrian Hezbollah fighters from the predominately Shi’i towns of Al-Zahra’a and Nubl in northern Aleppo.
These Hezbollah fighters were requested by the Syrian Arab Army after some units of the 5th Corps were redeployed to other fronts around the country.
Recently, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies have resumed their offensive in the eastern countryside of Al-Sweida, capturing large parts of the province after fierce battles with the US-backed Free Syrian Army.
