Syrian jets aid Lebanese Army with powerful attack on terrorists in Arsal
For the third day in a row, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) conducted raids over the eastern countryside of Lebanon’s Beqa’a Governorate, striking terrorists in the ‘Arsal Barrens near the Syrian border.
According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Air Force carried out several airstrikes this morning after receiving coordinates from Hezbollah personnel about the locations of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Islamic State (ISIL) terrorists in the ‘Arsal Barrens.
The Syrian jets launched these airstrikes ahead of the Lebanese Army’s planned offensive to clear the ‘Arsal Barrens that the terrorists are currently occupying in this part of the Beqa’a Governorate.
In the coming days, the Lebanese Army is expected to commence their offensive, while Syrian Army and Hezbollah personnel monitor the border to make sure no terrorists reenter Syria.
