ISIL’s HQ eliminated by Syrian jets in southern Raqqa
The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) has been on a rampage lately, targeting the Islamic State’s (ISIL) positions all over central Syria.
Minutes ago, a military source in Aleppo told Al-Masdar News that the Syrian Air Force struck the Islamic State’s main headquarters in the Al-Raqqa Governorate, eliminating this installation near the town of Al-Zamalah.
Following the airstrike that destroyed the ISIL HQ, the Syrian Air Force carried out several attacks in the eastern countryside of Homs and western part of Deir Ezzor.
These airstrikes over east Homs and west Deir Ezzor resulted in the destruction of several armored vehicles and many Islamic State militants that were present in the area at the time.
