Tehran hosts Conf. on Islamic Consolidation
Islamic Consolidation Conference with Iranian and Azerbaijani intellectuals in attendance has kicked off in Iran Capital city of Tehran and at the premise of Esteqlal Hotel, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki and International Deputy of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Manouchehr Mottaki attend the even giving speech.
Mottaki held the meeting as a result of talks and consultations of Iranian and Azerbaijani officials, thinkers and intellectual in Baku.
In this one-day event, the attendees exchange their views and ideas on the hows of countering terrorism, extremist and Takfiri groups, and also the potential ways for boosting rapprochement, solidarity and unity among Muslims.
The attendees in the event are expected to review and discuss various roadmaps for sorting out the standing setbacks and stopping extremist measures in the World of Islam as well as all non-Muslim countries across the globe.
