Emirs of ISIL Terrorist Group Killed in Popular Uprising in Eastern Syria

Over ten ISIL terrorists, including two senior commanders, have been killed in popular uprising in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, local sources reported on Tuesday.

The sources said that a number of youth attacked ISIL’s centers in the towns of al-Mayadeen and Albu Kamal, killing Jadallah Abdul Ra’ouf and Ziyad al-Noubi, two Egyptian emirs of ISIL.

Also, a group of youth attacked a military vehicle of ISIL along the road connecting Albu Kamal to Hasibeh, destroying the vehicle and killing three terrorists.

Another group of residents of al-Kataf region stormed ISIL’s center near the old water treatment plant in Albu Kamal, killing seven ISIL terrorists, including four non-Syrian.

The sources went on to say that a group of ISIL terrorists along with their commander, Yusuf al-Marhoun, fled the region after the army took control over the town of al-Sukhnah in Eastern Homs and their advances towards Deir Ezzur.

Relevant reports said on Monday that the army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL along the road connecting the village of al-Baqaliyeh to Panorama base in Deir Ezzur outskirts, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their military equipment.

In the meantime, the army men clashed fiercely with ISIL and repelled their attack in surrounding of Tamin Brigade base in Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur, inflicting heavy casualties on the militants.

Also, the army aircraft pounded ISIL’s centers and movements West of Deir Ezzur in the regions of al-Mawared, Huweija Kateh, al-Thardah crossroad, Deir Ezzur airbase, the neighborhoods of al-Huweiqa, old airport and al-Omal and in the villages of al-Baqaliyeh, al-Jnainiyeh, al-Shoula and al-Shamitiyeh, killing a number of them and destroying their vehicles and equipment.
