Syrian Army ousts ISIS from more territories in east Homs
As the Syrian government forces make their way the eastern province of Deir Ezzor, the Islamic State’s territories increasingly shrink in central Syria.
A few days ago, ISIS (also known as ISIL or simply IS) lost one of its bastions in a mountainous terrain in the eastern countryside of Homs following intense battles with Syrian Army troops.
Having recaptured the Tuwynan area, the government forces discovered a warehouse for workshop for storing and making explosives and IEDs.
A well-equipped tunnel linking Tuwynan with the eastern mountains of Palmyra has been also discovered.
