Syria: Terrorists Withdraw from More Regions Southeast of Damascus
The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with terrorists and seized control over the important regions of Rajm al-Hadlah, Rajm Bakr, Kharba Bakr and Kharba Radifi that are home to terrorists’ command centers.
Field sources confirmed that riots and unrest have pushed the terrorist front in the region into full collapse after the recent vast advances of the Syrian army.
In relevant developments in the province on Sunday, the army and its allied forces regained control of strategic Um Azan hill North-East of al-Zalaf dam in the Southeastern countryside of Damascus, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.
Several ISIL terrorists were killed and their military equipment and vehicles were also destroyed in tough battle with the Syrian army over controlling Um Azan hill.
The army troops captured an area covering 150 square kilometers of land in the Eastern countryside of Sweida to the East of al-Zalaf dam.
A military news outlet run by the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement said on Saturday that the newly-recaptured positions were all situated to the Southeast of the capital Damascus.
The Syrian army’s attack killed and wounded militants, the report added without elaborating on their number.
