Zero Hour Arriving for Syrian Soldiers to Launch Fresh Operation in Homs Province
The army men, backed up by the Russian Special Forces, have kept rolling on the ISIL’s defense lines in the ancient town of Quaryatayn over the past two weeks, clearing several ISIL sleeper cells in the desert region.
Once Quaryatayn is officially declared free from ISIL occupation, the army men will shift their attention to the small pockets occupied by the terrorist group in the region.
Quaryatayn was seized by ISIL terrorists two weeks after they launched a surprise offensive from their sleeper cells inside the city early this month.
Relevant reports said earlier this moth that the army units retook control of the three villages of Job al-Bashir, Southern al-Jarf, Northern al-Jarf and Middle al-Jarf in the Northeastern parts of Job al-Jarah region on Thursday.
Meantime, they won back control of all hills adjacent to the villages of Northern al-Qassemiyeh, Rabi’eh and Maqizal.
A field source also confirmed that the army forces could establish security in Job al-Jarah region and all roads leading to it in Eastern Homs.
